A Joyful Journey of Faith Begins in Gulu
A Joyful Journey of Faith Begins in Gulu The Archdiocese of Gulu is celebrating a special moment of grace its Diamond Jubilee, marking 75 years of faith and service. This great celebration will continue throughout the year and will reach its peak on 9th March 2027. The theme guiding this journey is: "Rooted in the Eucharist, United with St. Joseph." It calls all Christians to grow deeper in faith and unity. As part of these celebrations, a beautiful and meaningful activity has been organized — the movement of the Jubilee Icons, which include the Monstrance and the Statue of St. Joseph. These sacred symbols will travel across all parishes, bringing prayer, blessing, and unity to every community. This important journey will officially begin on Saturday, 11th April 2026, at the Cathedral in ForGod with Holy Mass starting at 7:00 AM. After the Mass, the Christians of Christ, the King Parish, will receive the Jubilee Icons and begin their movement throughout the Archdiocese for the whole year. This is a special invitation to all Christians to take part in this spiritual journey — to pray together, to grow together, and to celebrate God's goodness as one family of faith.
