Catholic foot pilgrims expected in Kampala on tomorrow
By Franklin Draku Catholic foot pilgrims from Nebbi Catholic Diocese are expected to arrive at the Uganda Martyrs’ Shrine in Namugongo on Wednesday this week. The 15-day journey will see the pilgrims station at Naguru Catholic Church on Tuesday evening before embarking on the final journey to the Martyrs’ shrine on Wednesday where they will animate this year’s Martyrs’ day celebrations on June 3rd. The more than 700 pilgrims from various parishes across Nebbi Catholic Diocese who include women, youth and the elderly, were flagged off by the Archbishop-designate of Gulu Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace Raphael Wokorach on May 6th.
