LOP Welcomes censure of four commissioners over service award

The Leader of Opposition (LOP), Joel Ssenyonyi, has welcomed the motion for the censure of four Commissioners of Parliament, spearheaded by the ruling National Resistance Movement legislators. Speaking to journalists at Parliament, Ssenyonyi said this move should dispel public arguments suggesting that the National Unity Platform’s (NUP) criticism of the service award was a personal attack on his predecessor, Mathias Mpuuga, rather than a call to address the irregularities surrounding the award.
