UBOA, bus terminal managers agree to defer loading fees increment
Bus owners and the management of both Namayiba and Kisenyi bus terminals have agreed to defer for one month the increment of loading fees from Shs 53,000 to Shs 59,000 until June 13th 2024. This is one of eleven resolutions from a meeting that was held at the works and transport ministry yesterday. The meeting that was also attended by the Director Traffic and Road Safety and the Kampala Metropolitan Police Traffic Commander, addressed various concerns including rent increment without notice, failure to provide receipts; high electricity charges and overcrowding by hawkers.
