Uganda’s chronic under nutrition worrying, UNICEF

  Nutrition experts have noted that although Uganda has made great strides regarding economic growth and poverty reduction, progress in reducing malnutrition has remained a critical challenge. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), country representative to Uganda Munira Safieldin says chronic undernutrition remains a critical challenge, with approximately one in four children under five years suffering from stunting.
