Parliament to host special women’s session
Uganda’s Parliament will hold a special session on Monday, March 3, 2025, to honor women and commemorate International Women’s Day, which is celebrated globally on March 8th. Speaker of Parliament Anita Among announced this on Tuesday, stating that women from across the country will be selected to participate in the session. They will convene in the parliamentary chambers to debate issues of importance to women.
