By Reuters Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim said his team are still improving, as Sunday’s dramatic FA Cup penalty shootout victory over Arsenal points to a more positive future after a difficult start to life at Old Trafford. United fans have suffered several false dawns in recent seasons, with development under Amorim’s predecessors Erik ten Hag and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer largely a case of one step forward and two steps back. Amorim may have wondered if he had taken on a poisoned chalice when a three-game unbeaten run to begin his reign was followed by a woeful run of results, with an unlikely victory over Manchester City in the middle. But having outperformed expectations with a brilliant display against Liverpool […] The post Amorim sees shoots of progress in Man United’s shootout win at Arsenal first appeared on 93.3 KFM.

Tamworth given beer for life incentive to create Cup shock against Tottenham
By Reuters Minor league Tamworth hardly need an incentive to write their name in FA Cup folklore against Premier League Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday but just in case they do, a local bar in the market town is offering beer for life for a match-winner. While Tamworth boss Andy Peaks will be busy devising a tactical plan to stop the likes of Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski, general manager of Pitchers Bar Jason Pegg is hoping the promise of endless pints can help cause a massive shock. “What better way to show our backing than with a […] The post Tamworth given beer for life incentive to create Cup shock against Tottenham first appeared on 93.3 KFM.
