Inter Milan hold Man City to surprise 0-0 draw in Champions League opener
BY REUTERS Inter Milan escaped Etihad Stadium with a surprise 0-0 draw against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday, exacting a small measure of revenge for their narrow loss to Pep Guardiola’s side in the 2023 final. Both teams squandered numerous chances in a breathless back-and-forth affair. City were largely stalled by Inter’s impressive discipline in defence, while Simone Inzaghi’s Inter, who were dangerous on the break on a nervy night for both sides, were wayward with their finishing. “We faced a really difficult team,” Guardiola said. “I’m still really, really satisfied for the game we played, especially with how (Inter) defended, they are masters of that, so big, they help each other unbelievably. So you cannot expect […] The post Inter Milan hold Man City to surprise 0-0 draw in Champions League opener first appeared on 93.3 KFM.

The people of Kasese think the government has neglected them,” Kabugho said. Meanwhile, Pakwach […] The post MPs urge government to tackle recurring disasters first appeared on 93.3 KFM.

The Ugandan government has received a substantial grant of USD 600 million (approximately Shs2 trillion) from the Global Fund to combat communicable diseases over the next three years. This funding will support efforts to treat HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria from 2024 to 2026. According to Ms Allen Kuteesa, a representative of TB-affected communities on the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism (UCCM), a portion of the grant will be allocated for drugs and other essential commodities. She also noted that a portion of the funds will be used for software activities and other related initiatives. “Grant cycle 7 is heavily commoditized, meaning too much of the investment is going to drugs and other commodities.
