The cleaning exercise was attended by His Grace the Most Rev. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, who joined the people of Kitgum in cleaning their community. Speaking during the exercise, Archbishop Kaziimba called on Ugandans to make cleanliness part of their daily life. He said keeping homes, workplaces, public places, and bodies clean is important for healthy and peaceful communities. The Archbishop also spoke about the importance of cleanliness in homes.
