Elon Musk interview of Trump marred by technical issues
By Reuters Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s interview with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk finally got underway on Musk’s social media platform X on Monday evening, following a lengthy delay caused by technical problems that kept many users from accessing the live stream. Musk, who has endorsed Trump, began the event at 8:42 p.m. (0042 GMT Tuesday), more than 40 minutes after the scheduled start time. He blamed the difficulties on a distributed denial-of-service attack, in which a server or network is flooded with traffic in an attempt to shut it down, though his claim was not confirmed. More than 1.3 million people were listening about 45 minutes into the conversation, according to a counter on X. Trump sought to turn […]

Search and recovery efforts continued into Monday, marking the third day since the incident, with the death toll remaining at 23 as of Monday morning. So the search and recovery continues today,” Makasiita said. President Museveni issued a statement on Sunday, directing the […]

Diana Tibesigwa, the Regional Advocacy and Policy Manager for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, made the appeal during an interview with KFM. UNEB to schools: Display candidates’ registers
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has instructed schools nationwide to display lists of candidates registered for the 2024 national examinations. The Executive Director of UNEB, Mr. Daniel Odongo says the candidates’ registers should be displayed in a conspicuous place at the school notice boards where the candidates are registered to enable parents to confirm the registration status of the learners. He asked parents with students studying in schools that do not have UNEB center status to establish where these students have been registered and confirm whether the learner (s) has been registered. He says that this will avoid unfortunate scenarios where students are discovered unregistered at the start of the examination period, asking parents to report the incident to […]
